German: choose a course that fits your level and your plans.
Learning progression
These learning areas describe goals suited to your level. The center confirms the detailed progression and materials; they do not guarantee a particular outcome after 40 hours.
Build a foundation in German
Pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, word order and sentence structures provide a starting point for understanding and speaking, with rules connected to their use.
Handle everyday exchanges
Introduce yourself, understand a request and explain a need or plan. As the level develops, exchanges become more independent and texts more detailed.
Connect the language to your plans
Study, work or relocation helps focus the vocabulary and situations worth practicing. Check any institutional or application requirements with the organization concerned.
Choose your level
A1 to C1 levels are reference points in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Here is a brief guide to the skills associated with each stage.

Prepare for an exam
OUAAZIZ Center offers ÖSD preparation and works in partnership with an ÖSD examination center. Our team will clarify the exam location, dates, target level and examination fees.
Discuss my exam goalBefore you enroll
I do not know my level. Where should I start?
Choose “I do not know my level” in the enrollment request. Describe what you have already studied and your goal; the center will help you choose a suitable starting point.
Do 40 hours guarantee that I will reach the level?
The center allocates 40 teaching hours to a level. Progress also depends on your starting point, attendance and practice between lessons. The actual calendar is confirmed before enrollment.
Does course enrollment include the official exam?
Preparation and registration for an official exam are separate steps. Give the exact test name, required level or score, and your deadline. The center will explain preparation, its price and the exam arrangements.
Let’s start with your goal.
Tell us what you would like to learn, where you are starting from or what your child needs help with. We’re happy to talk through the options.
