Learning-related words printed on a classroom door.

Choose a situation, not a list

Start with an exchange you would like to manage: introducing yourself, asking for information or describing your day. Write down a few useful expressions. A short list tied to a real situation is easier to reuse than isolated words.

Listen, then say something

Choose a short clip you can partly understand. Listen once for meaning, then repeat a sentence aloud. You do not need to reproduce every sound perfectly; focus on recognizing the phrase and being able to use it.

Return to what was useful

Keep the expressions you have actually used or looked for. Revisit them, change a detail and try using them in another conversation. If the same difficulty keeps coming up, note an example and discuss it with your teacher.
